 Well hes arrived! After a mammouth 11 hour effort by Claire and no small amount of encouragement by me, apart from when I fell asleep whilst she was in the birthing pool (which I still maintain was a figment of her imagination brought on by the laughing gas) ,
Claire gave birth to a baby boy at 12:24 last Friday, the 23rd of January.
We have named him Áedán John Hall. "Áedán" is the Irish spelling and means "fire" (so he should take after his mum) the middle name was chosen after my dad and Claire's two grandads who were also called John. So were are keeping the family name going.
Now for the details, hes got Claire's curly hair ( you knew she had curly hair didn't you?) and seems to be pretty long (his height I mean)
He weighed 3.325kgs or 7lbs 5oz in old money!
